And I also got a disabled pass for those days I'm exhausted but need it....doesn't work for hospital as the Marsden is a cancer hospital so they charge everyone to park but at least we save money with some of our other parking. Like you I'm spending many hours at the hospital for my velcade.( Worse than that, my kidneys have also packed up, so I'm there 3 times a week for dialysis).<br />Our hospaital do a monthly pass for something like £9, or I believe you can get a years one if you have a letter fom the consultant, do your hospital have anything like that? If you haven't already checked it may be worth enquiring. The other option is how bad is your back? My spine is fractured in 2 places, this means I have days of extreme pain and actually qualify for a disabled pass. Not much consolation, but that enables free parking.
